A 13-year-old boy was arrested on Thursday on suspicion of raping a 12-year-old girl at his school in Rehovot.
The girl's mother was concerned about the decline in her daughter's schoolwork and subsequently discovered that the her daughter was being repeatedly raped by the boy.
Police were expected to request a remand extension for the alleged attacker.
