Police arrested two Palestinian residents of east Jerusalem on Monday on suspicion of stabbing two off-duty border policemen during a confrontation outside a nightclub in the capital on Thursday evening. The off-duty officers spotted a car driving "wildly" and proceeded to tell its driver to pull over, Border Police spokesman Moshe Pinchi said. Four of the car's occupants got out and a physical confrontation ensued. Two police officers sustained stab wounds during the fight, and the attackers fled the scene. The police officers were rushed to hospital in moderate and light condition respectively. One officer was released from hospital on Monday, Pinchi added.
