Two Kassam rockets was launched out of the Gaza Strip into Israel on Monday.
One of the rockets landed near Zikim in the southern coastal region, while the other one landed at sea.
No one was reported wounded by the assault.
The IDF responded by shelling northern Gaza with artillery.
