Two people were killed on Wednesday in a car accident between a car and a van on Route 60 between Shilo and Tapuach.
An investigation revealed that the driver of the car strayed from his own lane and crashed head-on into a van coming in the opposite direction. Both he and his passenger were killed.
All nine van passengers were injured, one seriously and eight light-moderate. They were taken to the Rabin Medical Center in Petah Tikva and to Hadassah University Hospital in Ein Kerem for medical treatment, Israel Radio reported.
