Three soldiers were wounded Monday in an RPG explosion during an IDF training exercise at a firing range south of Rishon Leziyon. One of the soldiers, an officer, was seriously wounded, another was moderately hurt, and a third suffered only light injuries. All three of the soldiers were evacuated to Tel Hashomer Hospital in Tel Aviv. The soldiers' families have been notified. An investigation of the incident showed that the RPG was bounty captured by IDF soldiers in the Second Lebanon War and previously belonged to Hizbullah. On Sunday, an IDF soldier was seriously injured when he was hit by a bullet accidentally fired from a fellow soldier's gun at a base in northern Samaria.
