40-year-old woman found dead 1 day after giving birth

A 40-year-old woman was found dead in the maternity ward of Haifa's Bnei Zion Medical Center on Wednesday morning.
The circumstances of her death were being investigated, and an autopsy will be carried out.
The woman, a resident of the North, gave birth to her fifth child on Tuesday morning, with no complications. Hospital staff checked her condition at midnight on Tuesday night, and she was found dead at 5 a.m.
The hospital said that there was no knowledge of previous illness or symptoms indicating problems with her pregnancy.
