Five hikers, all family members, were injured on Saturday afternoon, when a mine exploded in the northern Golan Heights. Magen David Adom said that a 10-year-old boy was seriously hurt, a 12-year-old girl was in a moderate condition and three others were being treated for shock. The family comes from the center of the country, MDA added. The incident apparently occurred when the family entered a marked minefield near Mount Avital.
