Security officials told newly-appointed Justice Minister Haim Ramon on Monday that they would commit to completing 95 percent of the security fence by the end of 2006.
The commitment was made regarding the areas of the fence that were considered "life-saving," constituting 470 km of the planned 500 km fence periphery.
