Abusive Beit Shemesh mother to be released to house arrest

The Jerusalem District Court on Thursday ordered the release and transfer to house arrest of the Beit Shemesh mother accused of abusing her 12 children.
However, in response to protest on the part of the district attorney, the court pushed off any implementation of the ruling until an additional hearing Friday at the Supreme Court.
The mother is accused of a history of abuse and negligence spanning several years. Â Â
