Aliza Olmert invites Schalit's parents to meet her in J'lem

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's wife, Aliza Olmert, has invited captured IDF soldier Gilad Schalit's parents, Noam and Aviva Schalit, to meet her at the Prime Minister's Residence in Jerusalem, Israel Radio reported Monday. The Schalit family is currently living in a protest tent they erected outside Olmert's residence. The protest is part of a last-ditch effort by Schalit's parents to push the prime minister to meet Hamas's demands for the release of 1,400 security prisoners in exchange for their son, and/or take any other action to secure his release before Olmert leaves office in a few weeks.
