Over 500 dunams of orchards and fields were flooded over the weekend along the Arava riverbed in the Negev desert.
Excessive rains over the weekend caused the flooding, which spread to IDF bases along the Israeli-Jordanian border and closed down the Arava border crossing on Friday.
