Barak decides to allow only minimal fuel supplies to enter Gaza Strip

Following the multiple rocket attacks on Israel, Defense Minister Ehud Barak released a statement on Wednesday night saying that after consulting various defense experts, he had decided that only the minimal amount of fuels will be transferred to the Gaza Strip on Thursday. According to the statement, the defense minister decided to allow 30 trucks carrying humanitarian supplies, including food, medicine and medical equipment, to enter the Gaza Strip on Thursday. Barak instructed that the subject of fuel delivery to the Gaza Strip be evaluated at the Defense Establishment's daily situation assessments.
