'Beit Hanassi Aleph' asks to be included in new Katsav indictment

Attorney Eldad Yaniv, who represents the first plaintiff against former president Moshe Katsav, wrote to Attorney General Menahem Mazuz Tuesday evening, asking him to consider including his client in the final indictment against Katsav.
In its plea bargain with Katsav, the state decided to drop the charges involving 'Beit Hanassi Aleph' altogether because of alleged contradictions in her testimony.
Following Katsav's rejection of the plea bargain on Tuesday, Yaniv asked Mazuz to summon him to a discussion where "the attorney general's position will be reexamined in relation to the formulation of a new indictment, and my client will be granted the basic right...to defend her rights."
