A 22-year-old border policeman from Bir al-Maksur in the Galilee was indicted in Haifa's District Court for raping a 69-year-old woman two weeks ago. According to the charge sheet, the guard attacked the woman when she stepped onto the Kiryat Yam-Kiryat Bialik road.
The policeman was also accused of sodomy, blackmail, and obstruction of justice.
