Boy, 16, seriously hurt after falling from window of youth hostel

A 16-year-old boy from the south was seriously injured on Thursday when he fell from a window of a youth hostel in the north. According to reports, the boy had been staying at the youth hostel in Tel Hai as part of his school trip, and had tried to climb from his room to a neighboring room from the window when he slipped and fell. Magen David Adom paramedics treated the teen on the scene before evacuating him by helicopter to Rambam Hospital in Haifa.
