Bush reiterates he doesn't expect Israeli-Palestinian agreement this year

US President George W. Bush reiterated on Sunday that he does not expect to see an Israeli-Palestinian agreement by the end of this year, the leader told Channel 2 in a Washington interview. "I think we can reach a vision of what a Palestinian state can look like but I have made it abundantly clear that I don't expect an agreement will be reached by the end of 2208," he said. "I am optimistic because I believe that Prime Minister [Ehud] Olmert and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud] Abbas want to reach an agreement," he told the news channel.
