Comptroller examining 7 cases of severe corruption

State Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss was investigating suspicions of seven serious cases of corruption in the public sector, only part of which have been covered in the media. "The department is dealing with seven instances over which we have received significant complaints," Lindenstrauss said in the Knesset's Finance Committee. He added, "The cases underwent immediate preliminary investigation, and will be subject to another investigation." Lindenstrauss intended to publish all of the allegations in a special document, without any connection to the State Comptroller's Report, Army Radio reported.
