Defense Minister Ehud Barak approves transfer of NIS 100 m. to Gaza

Defense Minister Ehud Barak approved on Wednesday the transfer of NIS 100 million from banks in the West Bank to banks in the Gaza Strip.
The decision was made after Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Salaam Fayad asked Bank of Israel Governor Stanley Fischer to push for the move given the shortage of cash in the Gaza Strip.
