Histadrut Labor Federation head Ofer Eini on Thursday denied a claim by outgoing Finance Ministry Budget Director Ram Belinkov that he had taken a bribe in exchange for his support for the state budget, which the cabinet approved on Wednesday. "Ram Belinkov didn't accept the prime minister's stance, but instead started shooting on all directions," Eini told Army Radio. "I, as Histadrut chairman, have other things to do." Eini added that despite the amendments to the budget, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu had not softened his economic outlook. Belinkov resigned in protest over the budget deal struck between the government and the Histadrut, which bypassed the Treasury's proposals.
