Eritrean refugee suspected of attempted rape in Tel Aviv

Police have arrested a refugee from Eritrea on Monday on suspicion that he attempted to rape a woman as she walked with her baby near Tel Aviv's central bus station. The suspect took the woman by force to a side street and attempted to undress her. The suspect's friends who were in the area noticed the incident and came to the woman's aid, helping her flee. The suspect remains in custody and police will request a remand extension.
