Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's family arrived at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem on Saturday after the hospital announced that his condition had worsened, Army Radio reported.
The prime minister was undergoing an operation to repair a problem with the flow of blood to his stomach.
A number of government officials, including Cabinet Secretary Israel Maimon, also made their way to Sharon's bedside.
The media was once again amassing outside of the emergency room to monitor and report on Sharon's condition.
