Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Salaam Fayad will meet on Wednesday with Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni in the West Bank town of Jericho, officials in Fayad's office said Sunday.
The foreign ministers of Jordan and Japan will also attend the meeting, the officials said on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to talk to the press.
The Foreign Ministry would not comment. Privately, ministry officials indicated that the sides were trying to work out such a meeting but would not give their names due to the sensitive nature of the matter.
