Many foreign consulates in Israel, according to a Tuesday report, have accrued a collective debt of NIS 2.8 million to the State by refraining from paying parking tickets and city taxes, in spite of a 30% discount that they automatically receive.
The worst violators, Channel 10 reported, were the embassies of Italy, Russia, and the Czech Republic.
Israel's Foreign Ministry reportedly joined the effort to collect the debts.
