Forum calling for Schalit's release: New PM must make difficult decisions

The Forum of Friends for Abductees, a group set up to call for the release of kidnapped IDF soldiers Gilad Schalit, Eldad Regev and Ehud Goldwasser, issued a response to the Kadima primary reminding "Israel's next prime minister that the country's strength is measured by the level of commitment of its leader to its citizens." "The headquarters of the struggle will not rest until Gilad Schalit returns home and will happily stand by the next prime minister, who will have to make difficult decisions in order to move forward in negotiations to release him," a statement by the organization said. Regev and Goldwasser's bodies were returned in a prisoner exchange in July.
