An eight-year-old girl who was being treated with antibiotics to combat a cold collapsed on Sunday morning and was evacuated in serious condition to Wolfson Hospital in Holon. According to Army Radio, the girl approached her parents, told them she was feeling unwell, and then fainted. Despite attempts by a Magen David Adom team to resuscitate her, the girl was unconscious and unable to breathe independently during the ride to Wolfson. An initial examination showed that she was suffering from cerebral hemorrhaging, which is rare in children. It is still unclear what had caused the cerebral hemorrhaging.
