Group demands Lindenstrauss publish war report

The watchdog organization Ometz on Monday wrote to the state comptroller, demanding that he immediately publish his report on the state's handling of the home front before and during the Second Lebanon War. State Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss completed the draft of the report in early March and has since been waiting for explanations from those whom he singled out for criticism before writing and publishing the final draft. Lindenstrauss intended to reveal some details about his interim findings at a meeting of the Knesset State Control Committee on March 6, but was prohibited from doing so by the High Court of Justice. Since then, no further information about the report has been made available.
