Haifa U. study: Iran waging misinformation war against Israel

Iran is waging a war of misinformation against Israel, and is using Hamas, Hizbullah, and even the Israeli media to conduct it, researchers at Haifa University claimed in a study published on Tuesday. "Iran is conducting an organized war of misinformation against Israel, in which Hizbullah and Hamas represent the front lines," the study said. "The frequent threats by senior officials in the Iranian regime of destroying Israel, the comparison of Israel to the 'little Satan,' the denial of the Holocaust, and the constant reminder of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict are tools by which this war is waged," the study continued. "Another method is the use of the Israeli media in disseminating information about Iran's strength, for instance, in the number of centrifuges," the study said.
