Hamas tells Israeli reporter Amira Hass to leave Gaza

An Israeli reporter who arrived in Gaza on a boat said on Monday that Hamas has told her to leave the territory for security reasons.
Award-winning reporter Amira Hass writes for Ha'aretz and is known for her sympathetic coverage of the Palestinians. Hass spoke on Monday from a border crossing between Gaza and Israel.
She arrived in Gaza on a boat manned by pro-Palestinian activists on November 8. She said that she had hoped to stay in Gaza until January.
A Hamas spokesman was unavailable for comment.
