The Health Ministry has issued a warning against bathing in the Kinneret following reports of contamination of its waters due to a hitch involving Tiberias's sewage system.
The following beaches are prohibited to swimmers: Galei Kinneret, Hof Guy , Hof Holiday, Hahof Hanifrad and Hof Hashikmim.
The ministry also issues instructions to boil all drinking water and water used for cooking in Tiberias.
