High Court won't discuss Sderot school protection

The High Court of Justice announced Thursday that it would not conduct a hearing into a petition filed by the Sderot Parents Association demanding that the state be obligated to provide protection to schools in the rocket-hit western Negev town, Army Radio reported. The association had threatened to prevent the start of the school year in protest of the lack of protection from Kassam rocket attacks. Indeed, hours earlier, a rocket landed in Sderot, wounding four of the town's residents.
