Historian Ze'ev Sternhell lightly wounded in 'ideological' attack

A small pipe bomb was left outside the home of historian and Israel Prize winner Professor Ze'ev Sternhell, a resident of Jerusalem, Army Radio reported late Wednesday night. Sternhell was lightly wounded and evacuated to a Jerusalem hospital. Police speculate that the incident was "ideologically" motivated. The professor, who spent the last few months overseas, had been harassed over the phone.
