IDF nabbed 14 would-be bombers in last 3 weeks

Deputy Chief of General Staff Maj.-Gen. Moshe Kaplinski revealed on Wednesday that 14 would-be suicide bombers were arrested by security forces in the last three weeks alone. Most of them were dispatched from the northern West Bank. He assessed that, now that it was voted into the Palestinian Legislative Council, the Hamas would both pursue a long-term ceasefire and use the time to plan future terrorists attacks against Israel. In a lecture in Haifa, Kaplinski noted that the IDF was preparing for a scenario in which it would be required to exert more force against the Palestinian terrorist groups.
