IDF soldier critically hurt as colleague's gun accidentally discharges

An IDF Armored Corps soldier was critically injured Tuesday when he was hit in the neck by a bullet after his colleague's gun accidentally discharged at an army post in the North.
The soldier was evacuated to Rambam Hospital in Haifa.
An officer with the rank of colonel was appointed to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
