IDF troops foil attempt to plant bomb near Kerem Shalom crossing

IDF troops early Thursday morning spotted a terror operative who was attempting to plant a bomb near the Kerem Shalom crossing to the Gaza Strip under the cover of darkness.
Soldiers initiated an arrest protocol, but when the man did not respond, the force opened fire on him, injuring him lightly.
He was taken to Soroka Hospital in Beersheba for treatment.
