Infrastructures minister discusses alternative energy with Greenpeace

National Infrastructures Minister Uzi Landau (Likud) sat down with Greenpeace Israel on Monday to talk about alternative energy in Israel. Greenpeace recently released an analysis of the economic benefits of alternative energy to the Israeli economy. "It is inconceivable that private Israeli entrepreneurs prefer to invest abroad rather than in Israel, only because of bureaucratic processes. We must make a great effort to speed up the registration processes and set tariffs in order to meet the government's goals and to implement decisions on this matter. "The motto that guides me at this ministry is 'The more green, wherever possible,' and in order to realize that, we would like to cooperate with important environmental organizations like Greenpeace," the minister said in a statement.
