An NIS 86 million class action lawsuit has been filed against Israel Electric for damages caused by this week's rolling power outages, Army Radio reported.
The plaintiffs claim that the "brown-outs" were meant as a "power play" by the electric company's union against National Infrastructure Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer.
Israel Electric denied the accusation.
