Israel ranked 40 out of 57 countries in PISA exam testing math, reading

Israel had been ranked among the bottom third of countries who participated in an international examination conducted to test the reading and mathematical capabilities of pupils aged 15, a PISA report released on Tuesday said. Out of 57 countries that took part in the international test Israeli students achieved a placing of only 40. Finland, Hong Kong and Canada achieved the top scores in the exam with Qatar, Azerbaijan and Kirgizstan receiving the worst marks.
