A 24-year-old Israeli was under arrest Wednesday for allegedly repeatedly raping an 11-year-old girl over the last two years.
The alleged rapist is suspected of raping the child at the home of his sister who was the girl's babysitter.
The suspect's sister was apparently unaware of the attacks, police said.
The suspect, who cannot be named by court order due to the involvement of a minor in the case, was remanded in custody by three days by a Jerusalem court.
He denies the allegations against him, but police suspect he may have abused other children as well.
A court gag order also bars publication of the name of the city where the attacks allegedly took place.
