January-March: 465k tourists entered Israel

465 thousand tourists entered Israel between January and March 2006, an increase of 25 percent in comparison to the same period last year. The largest number of visitors came from the United States - 125,700 - an increase of 38%. The rise in incoming tourism from Nordic countries was also significant, providing a 49% increase since last year.
