Livni: Not talking to moderates 'prize for Hamas'

Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni reiterated her call Thursday to hold talks with the moderate Palestinian faction. During a meeting with local municipality leaders, Livni said that if such talks were not conducted it would be a "prize for Hamas." Israel Radio quoted Livni as saying that "for the sake of a better future, we must talk with Abu -Mazen." The foreign minster went on to say that she did not support one-sided gestures that were ineffective and that she did not support the Palestinians' right of return.
