Lupolianski: Gay pride parade a 'provocation'

Jerusalem Mayor Uri Lupolianki told the High Court of Justice on Tuesday afternoon that the city council saw the gay pride march planned for Thursday as a "provocation that would upset the delicate fabric of the city." Lupolianski said the parade should be cancelled. However, Jerusalem Munipality legal advisor Yossi Havilio said that the city should and would follow the court ruling explaining why the parade should be permitted.
