Man, 61, killed in blast at Herzliya apt.; police suspect criminal motive

A 61-year-old man was killed in an explosion at his fourth-floor Herzliya apartment early Thursday morning.
Rescue teams that hurried to the scene did not find any other victims.
The man was a known former drug-dealer with a criminal record. Police believe the incident was criminally motivated.
