The Tel Aviv District Court sentenced a 25-year-old man to 17 years in prison on Tuesday after convicting him of raping his girlfriend.
During the case it emerged that when the girl's family didn't allow the couple to marry, the man tied her up, raped her, photographed her naked and made abusive phone calls.
The court concluded that the man was still dangerous since he had not given up his wish to marry the girl.
