The Jerusalem District Court jailed an illegal Palestinian worker for 30 months on Tuesday after he was convicted of stealing a car and attempting to run over a policeman.
During the court case it emerged that after the Palestinian was eventually apprehended following a police chase, he sped towards one of the policeman who shot at the tires of the car, stopping the vehicle before it reached him.
