A 28-year-old man allegedly shot his wife and a friend in Petah Tikva Tuesday overnight, killing the latter and seriously wounding the former before attempting to commit suicide. The deceased was identified as Andrei Metusov, 28, from Ramat Gan. According to suspicions, the man, who was in the process of divorcing his wife, arrived at her apartment while she was being visited by friends - a second young couple. The couple then left and the suspect proceeded to shoot his wife. When the couple heard the gunshots, the man rushed back to the apartment to see what had happened, and was then shot to death by the husband. The suspect then apparently attempted to take his own life, shooting himself in the head. The couple was rushed to hospital - the wife in serious condition and the husband in a critical state. The shooter was in possession of a licensed firearm due to his work as a security guard. The woman was released from hospital on Wednesday afternoon and was giving her testimony to the police, Army Radio reported.
