A 23-year-old man seriously wounded after being intentionally run over by a vehicle during a gang fight in the Rehovot industrial zone succumbed to his wounds on Saturday night in the city's Kaplan Medical Center. The driver of the vehicle, a Ramle resident, was arrested and confessed to the attack. Another man was lightly-to-moderately wounded after receiving blows to the head in the Friday morning fight. Also in Rehovot Friday morning, three 16-year-old girls were arrested after their 17-year-old friend complained to police that they attacked her overnight, put a knife to her throat and burned her skin with a cigarette. The three suspects apparently believed their friend, who they had recently fallen out with, was pursuing the boyfriend of one of girls. They led the girl to an uninhabited area on the outskirts of the city and began attacking her - punching her, putting out cigarettes on her skin and, at one point, pressing a knife to her throat. The attack was stopped by the young woman's father, who rushed to the scene after being alerted of the events by his other daughter.
