Miliband tours Sderot with Barak, calls rocket attacks 'intolerable'
By JPOST.COM STAFF
Defense Minister Ehud Barak and British Foreign Secretary David Miliband visited the western Negev town of Sderot on Monday, shortly after a barrage of Kassam rockets damaged several houses in the nearby Eshkol region.
The two visited a school that has been fortified against rocket attacks and a police station, where the foreign secretary was shown the remains of a Kassam rocket.
Miliband called the repeated attacks from Gaza "intolerable" and said that Israel must continue to pursue talks with the Palestinian Authority, Israel Radio reported.
