Minister Ghaleb Majadle successfully undergoes surgical procedure

Science, Culture and Sports Minister Ghaleb Majadleh successfully underwent a surgical procedure to drain a hemorrhage in his brain on Sunday night at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem. Majadleh was taken to hospital after he complained of faintness and fatigue following the weekly cabinet meeting. The minister was first examined by a medic at the Prime Minister's Office, who decided to relay him to Hadassah for further tests. An MRI test showed a slight hemorrhage between the base of the skull and the meninges and the doctors recommended that the blood be drained. The procedure began shortly after midnight and lasted about 40 minutes.
