MK Sanaa requests Gaza visit to 'gather evidence' of Israeli 'war crimes'

MK Taleb a-Sanaa (United Arab List) on Wednesday requested permission from the Knesset to visit Gaza in order to appraise the damage and "gather evidence" in the Strip following Operation Cast Lead. "My visit will allow me to gather evidence... as a prelude to litigation at the Hague War Crimes Tribunal," Sanaa said. The Arab MK is also planning to visit wounded Palestinians in Gaza hospitals. MK Uri Ariel (NU) said in response that a-Sanaa should be allowed to go to Gaza but should not be permitted to return, as reported by Army Radio.
