Mob boss Asi Abutbul convicted of heading a crime organization

Netanya mob boss Asi Abutbul was convicted Thursday of heading a crime organization, which blackmailed and threatened businessmen in Israel and abroad.
Abutbul was found guilty of eight out of 18 charges in the indictment. He was tried along with 23 other men who were allegedly members of his organization. Of them 20 were found guilty of various charges relating to the organization's operations.
